Our Mission & Philosophy

At Mississippi Prosthetic Dentistry, we focus on the needs of our patients and referrals above all else because we believe that the relationships we develop are critical to a positive treatment experience. We build a foundation of trust by listening to your unique needs, communicating with respect, and developing a treatment plan that you are comfortable with. Whether you will be coming in for a prosthetic procedure or you are a referring doctor, we promise to make the process as smooth and enjoyable as possible for everyone involved.

What to Expect

If you’re coming in for a consultation, there are a few things you can do to ensure you get the most out of the time you spend with us. Filling out our convenient forms will make your visit as smooth as possible, and the information you provide will help our team get to know you before you even walk through the door. If you use any oral appliances like night guards, splints, and full or partial dentures, bring them with you so Dr. Milner can thoroughly examine them during your appointment. We know that restorative dental procedures can seem intimidating for patients, but the team at Mississippi Prosthetic Dentistry is committed to making every experience enjoyable. Our caring, communicative approach will put patients at ease, and our comforting amenities make everyone feel right at home in our office. If you’re coming in for a procedure, we have tablets and bluetooth speakers available for patients to keep them entertained before and during treatment. Every appointment is tailored to each patient’s specific needs and preferences, and we make the process smooth for referring doctors and patients alike.

Meet Our Team

Dr. Matt Milner

Dr. Milner always knew that he wanted to improve people’s lives through healthcare, but it wasn’t until he spent a day working with a dentist that he knew he wanted to focus on smiles. Prosthetic dentistry allows Dr. Milner to combine his artistic skills with his passion for health and give patients strong, beautiful teeth. His favorite part of being a prosthodontist is the ability to restore what was lost in a way that looks so natural that nobody but his team and the patient know about the prosthetic

Dr. Milner earned his DMD from the University of Mississippi Medical Center. He went on to attain a Certificate in Advanced Education in General Dentistry at UMMC, and he also earned a Prosthodontics Specialty Certificate from Louisiana State University. With his education, experience, and expertise, you will be confident in his care and the results of your treatment will be beautiful. Amber Rivers

Practice Manager

Amber Rivers has been a valued member of the Mississippi Prosthetic Dentistry team for more than seven years, serving as Practice Manager and helping ensure that every patient receives exceptional care and a positive experience. With over 20 years of experience in the dental field and credentials as a Registered Dental Assistant, Amber brings extensive knowledge, leadership, and dedication to her role.
Throughout her career, Amber has developed a passion for helping patients navigate their dental journey while supporting both clinical and administrative operations. Her commitment to excellence and compassionate approach have made her an integral part of the Mississippi Prosthetic Dentistry family.
Outside of the office, Amber is devoted to her family. She and her husband, Chris, are proud parents of three children, two of whom serve in the Mississippi National Guard, while their youngest is currently a senior in high school. Amber is also the proud grandmother of a beautiful granddaughter and plays an important role in raising her niece and nephew.
When she's not at work, Amber enjoys spending quality time with her family, camping, relaxing at the beach, and paddleboarding. Whether at home or in the office, she is passionate about caring for others and making a positive impact on those around her.

Kaytlin Westbrook

Dental Assistant

Kaytlin Peters is a dedicated dental assistant at Mississippi Prosthetic Dentistry. Originally from Oklahoma, Kaytlin relocated to Mississippi in 2023 and is proud to serve patients in her new community. She is passionate about helping patients feel comfortable and confident throughout their dental experience. Kaytlin enjoys working closely with both patients and the dental team to ensure each visit runs smoothly and efficiently. Her attention to detail and patient-first approach help make every visit a positive experience. Outside of work, Kaytlin enjoys spending time with her husband and their two chocolate labs. She is always focused on growth, both personally and professionally, and looks forward to reaching new milestones ahead.
